How can I learn more about a specific indicator?

You can learn more about the Indicators on the Gender Data Portal by clicking on the Details button or tab near the indicator of interest. The details section will provide more information about the indicator source, definition, calculation, methodology, and development relevance. On Indicator pages, click on the Details tab to the right of the filters tab to learn more. On the Topic, Country, and Region profiles, click on the Details icon at the bottom of each visualization. Each Country and Region profile also has narratives that accompany each visualization to help further contextualize and explain the indicator.
